| Home > Asia and Oceania > Japan > Japanese Nature | black & white previews
All colour images are also available as black & white prints. The b&w previews offered here are produced by simply desaturating the image via Javascript. The result is a neutral b&w preview which may appear flat or too dark/bright. Before printing, however, each image is individually assessed and adjusted for best contrast, tonal quality, and dynamic range.

Wonderful pic, but 3,600m? I thought even the highest peaks around Kamikochi (Okuhotaka at 3,190, etc) were under 3,200. [Re.: You are absolutely correct. It is 3200 not 3600. Thank you for poiting this out.]
