The Piazza del Campidoglio (capitol square) with the Palazzo Senatorio (senatorial palace)
The Capitol Hill, between the Forum and the Campus Martius, is one of the seven hills of Rome. The Campidoglio contains Medieval palaces (now the Capitoline Museums) that surround a piazza. A significant portion of the architecture in this area was designed by Michelangelo.
